Several years ago, we worked with Lori Ludwig, a Mountain BizWorks coach and founder of Performance Blueprints, to survey farmer’s market customers, CSA members and community members to get to the heart of ATG’s value in the context of the High Country’s local food system. After summarizing the results, we drafted our “Value Gem,” which is a potentized statement about the way ATG is able to serve the community:
At Against the Grain, our life's work is to support the health of our farm and community by producing Certified Biodynamic and Organic vegetables and ethically raised, GMO-free, pastured meats.
Our vision is that the products that leave our farm are fresh, nutrient dense and conveniently accessible to anyone in our community.
We are now in the process of re-visiting our Value Gem as the first step on the road to re-branding and/or revising our logo and WE NEED YOUR HELP! We’re calling all chefs, farmer’s market patrons, CSA members and really anyone who eats food and lives in the High Country. Please take five minutes to fill out an anonomus short survey:
